Francisco Quisumbing
Inventor of the Quink trademark ink
Francisco Quisumbing, a Filipino chemist, invented Quink pen ink which he sold to Parker for international consumption. The ink cleans the pen as it writes, dries quickly on paper, and remains liquid inside the tube. It is a quick drying ink with a cleaning property that prevents the ink from clogging the pen. Quink stands for Quisumbing Ink. However, Parker states that the name is an amalgam of "quick and ink".
